Hi,
I've spent a lot of time on Christian Forums mostly debating the whole Creation/Evolution thing. I have been studying the Scriptures for a little over 30 years now and I was looking around for a place I can share some of what I've learned. The blog hosting is what caught my attention but I'm going to take a little time and get acquainted with the regulars on here before I jump into that.
I'm an evangelical, pretty much a TULIP five pointer with some minor reservations. I believe the promise of the Holy Spirit leads us to a complete understanding (not to say perfect) of the things of Christ and the salvation he purchased for us with his blood. Still we are called to build up the body of Christ by the effectual exercise of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, edifying and submitting to one another in the fear of the Lord.
I should mention that I have done extensive reading, research and writing on the subject of Creationism and I have a passion for Christian Apologetics. My central motivation for this is to give reasons for faith and to stand on the Gospel of our peace, not just a desire to debate. In case your wondering I'm a Young Earth Creationist and I take the Genesis accounts quite literally so I don't expect any real issues along those lines.
